Ghost orchid blooming season at Blair Audubon Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary, Naples Florida - inspiration for D. K. Christi's fiction novel Ghost Orchid - begins again in 2022.  However, there was one magical winter when the ghost orchid decided to bloom in January - so surprises never end.  It's still worth a walk through the 2.25 trail to spot the roots of the ghost orchid clinging to its perch high up in the canopy and enjoy each seasons Everglades wonders.
